Purpose

So here’s the deal - I am always saying that I’m going to start blogging more because it let’s me get a few things off my mind.  I also just enjoy talking and just stating my opinion.

Anyways - I say all that simply because I highly doubt that’s what this blog is going to be.  I found Tumblr yesterday while I was looking through the top entrepreneurs under 25 years old.  I thought it was pretty awesome that a guy under 25 started this site, and the fact that this site is pretty much a combination of a whole bunch of different websites.

So, what is my purpose for using Tumblr as my blogging site? (might ask the two and a half people who will read this site)  Well I’m not sure how close we are, so I have no idea if you already know, but after I graduate from college (May) I’m going to go to Europe for an entire year!  How sweet is that!

Anyways, I thought this Tumblr thing would be perfect for my travels over there.  I’m able to add pictures (from my new digital camera) videos, quotes, or even add some audio for you guys to listen to.  I just think it’ll be a great way for me to stay in touch with all of my friends, and for everyone to still feel somewhat connected to what I’m doing thousands of miles away.

So that’s my purpose!  Hopefully I can convince a few people to use Tumblr along the way, and I can see what’s going in your lives as well.  Alright, well that’s pretty much all I’ve got for right now!  I’m going to try to figure this thing out some more, maybe try adding some mobile photos or quotes or something.

I’ll talk more about my trip and some of the details later on - I just needed to get a real blog post down first.
